Passion Knows No Boundary

For me communicating the beauty of music meant I needed to paint its essence. But how? 

For me passion begins and ends with exploration; I had to learn about music, the instruments, and the musicians, the essence in order to paint my muse. I studied, observed, listened, and then I began to sketch the instruments and visualize the sound through line, color, and shape. After hundreds of sketches I began to paint.

Oooohhh the joy of painting music! I began dancing across my canvas and creating visual rhythms. After 30 years I realize that I have only begun.  There is so much more to explore and create. And I have discovered that in my explorations music and life have intersected in a beautiful rhythm.  

Whatever you do, explore what you love and love what you explore.  Your passion is an endless well.
